Registration one by one

One by one country international registration of marks
Registration one by one is a method that the applicant entrusts foreign agencies to register trademark one by one. There are about 200 sovereign states and regions and national organizations which have separate law system.  We can register trademark with this method as long as the region or country has relevant regulations of trademarks.
Due to not all of countries join in Madrid Union, in many countries we only register trademark in this way.
    1. Flexible
It doesn’t need a basic application or a basic registration. It is flexible since what kind of trademark the applicant want to apply and what kind of goods or services the applicant want to choose is not limited. Therefore, the enterprises could make the trademark enter the international market before the commodity and expand the protection of the brand.
      2. Low-risk
We could do trademark search for this country before register in this way, and then, the applicant could clearly know what kind of results it will cause, whether their own trademarks has been registered in the country, and whether the use of the mark in the country will involve infringement. Thus, it decrease the risk.
    3. Convenient
We will entrust the local intellectual property or legal firms to deal with the relevant things. Therefore, it is convenient to the applicant to protect their interests. For one thing, the applicant could provide evidence in time to prove the right of exclusive use of the trademark in the face of infringement issues and avoid causing more losses. For another, the agency will also pay some attention to the trademark. When there are problems such as infringement or malicious registration, we could find the problem and solve it in time.

    1. Stable

The trademark registered in which country is governed by the country’s relevant law. The right to exclusive use of the mark will be stable in validity unless the applicant break the trademark law. In addition, when the registered trademark is about to expire, the agency will generally remind us of the renewal of it, which is registered through the Madrid can not be achieved.

    1. Global

It could adopt this method to register in about 200 countries and regions in the world, not much details about them here.
